Pütz Check Valve Desiccant Breather
The Pütz Check Valve Desiccant Breather range provides high-efficiency moisture and particulate control for hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, IBCs, transformers, and lubrication storage systems. Each breather replaces a standard vent cap or paper filter — all incoming air is filtered to 3-micron absolute and dried through indicating silica gel (blue) to prevent water ingress and airborne contamination. The built-in check valve ensures airflow only passes through the breather when the equipment breathes, making this range ideal for oil reservoirs with low air flow. Available in four sizes to suit applications from small gearboxes to large industrial systems.

Installation & Maintenance
| •Remove existing vent or filler cap and ensure mounting surface is clean and free of debris |
| •Thread breather onto port hand-tight — do not overtighten |
| •Inspect silica gel colour regularly — replace breather after 1 year or when gel reaches full saturation (turns pink) |
| •Avoid exposure to direct oil mist to maximise service life |
| •Store unused breathers indoors in a sealed package |
