LE Almasol Oven Chain Lubricant
LE Almasol® Oven Chain Lubricant (2710) is an environmentally friendly, synthetic lubricant for trouble-free oven chain lubrication despite extreme heat and moisture. It contains a synergistic blend of lubricating solids, including submicron-sized Almasol® particles, in a specially designed synthetic carrier fluid that penetrates the pin and bushing areas. The carrier evaporates, leaving a water-resistant protective film of solids that lubricates chain parts without accumulating gum, carbon particles or other hard deposits, and reduces frictional drag across a temperature range exceeding the operating temperature of most ovens.

KEY FEATURES
•Greatly reduces wear by completely penetrating the pin and bushing area
•Resists corrosion by sealing out moisture and shielding against acid attack
•Long-lasting protection – withstands continuous high heat without readily oxidising
•Lubricates chains up to 482°C (900°F)
•Ensures quiet, smooth operation by thoroughly lubricating middle joints and strands
•Decreases energy consumption by reducing frictional drag on electric motors
•Biodegradable, water-soluble synthetic carrier fluid that evaporates readily and is nearly odourless
•Decreases lubricant consumption by staying in place despite steam, moisture and heat
•Eliminates accumulation of carbon particles, gum or other hard deposits
APPLICATIONS
•Oven chains in food processing machinery – bakery chains and tortilla oven chains
•Industrial process oven chains
•Other chain lubrication applications where solids are required

| Recommendations | Use only as received; do not dilute. Flush spray application systems to completely remove previously used products, as mixing may cause thickening and pumping difficulty. Stir before use and regularly during use to keep solids in suspension. All sources of ignition must be extinguished before application. Oven temperature must be below 79°C (175°F) before applying. Oven exhaust fans must be running and inspection doors and steam dampers open before and during lubrication. Continue ventilation until all vapours are exhausted, and do not close oven doors until vapours are exhausted and the oven has reheated to baking temperature. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. |
