Castrol Biobar 46
Castrol BioBar is a range of environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids formulated from synthetic ester base oils, offering a wide operating temperature range and long service life as a replacement for conventional mineral oils in hydraulic equipment where leakage or spillage could reach the marine environment. Extensively tested for compatibility with standard hydraulic system components, particularly elastomer seals, BioBar allows conversion of existing equipment without major changes. It is recommended for hydraulic systems and hydrostatic transmissions incorporating gear pumps, vane pumps, and radial or axial piston pumps and motors where there is a perceived risk of environmental egress from spillage or leakage.
