Castrol Magnatec Hybrid 0W16
Other oils must reach a minimum temperature before providing full engine protection, but the engines in Hybrid and Stop-Start Technology vehicles can run up to 40 degrees cooler than those in conventional cars, because repeated engine shut-downs restrict the rise in engine temperature. Castrol MAGNATEC's intelligent molecules cling to the engine like a magnet, providing an extra layer of protection, and a fully-synthetic base oil improves oil flow at low temperatures — so Castrol MAGNATEC Hybrid's formulation dramatically reduces engine wear even while driving when the oil temperature is low (as tested in the industry Sequence IVA test). Castrol MAGNATEC Hybrid 0W-16 is also proven to deliver against Castrol's HYSPEC standard, demonstrating at least 25% benefit across the three critical hybrid areas of contaminants, engine intermittency, and system efficiency, compared to performance minimum requirements set in both industry specification and Castrol bespoke testing. Castrol MAGNATEC Hybrid 0W-16 is suitable for use in automotive petrol engines where the manufacturer recommends an API SP, ILSAC GF-6B 0W-16 lubricant.
