Castrol QB100 Degreaser
Castrol QB 100 is a solvent based, water emulsifiable multi purpose degreaser. The advanced quick break formulation allows for rapid separation of oil and grease from waste water as required by many effluent disposal systems. The quick break properties of Castrol QB 100 permit recovery of the oil and grease for correct disposal when collected in an effluent pit or sump.
Application
Castrol QB 100 may be used in a wide variety of degreasing applications on all metals, wood, glass, ceramics and concrete. It is ideal for cleaning engines, machinery, automotive components and workshop floors. Castrol QB 100 can be applied by brush, swab, spray or in an immersion tank. Apply to the surface to be cleaned and allow time to penetrate the dirt deposits (5-10 mins), then rinse with fresh water. After rinsing, the cleaning solution should be collected in an effluent pit or sump where oil and grease residues will quickly separate to allow safe disposal of the contaminants.
