Castrol Trans Dynadrive LL 80W90
Castrol Transmax Dynadrive Long Life 80W-90 is a part-synthetic SAE 80W-90 gear oil specifically developed to meet all the gear oil requirements for both manual transmissions and final drives. The unique additive system provides the extreme pressure protection needed in heavy-duty differentials, as well as the frictional properties required for smooth shifting synchromesh manual transmissions. Its excellent viscosity/temperature characteristics overcome gear change baulking at low temperatures, while the outstanding thermal stability of the semi-synthetic base oil minimises deposit formation and allows oil drain intervals to be extended when appropriate.
APPLICATION
| •Designed for use in highly loaded final drives and differentials of commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, vans, and 4WDs, as well as synchronised manual transmissions requiring API GL-4 or GL-5 lubricants |
| •Has shown excellent performance in a range of heavy duty differentials in the transport industry, as a replacement for conventional 85W-140 EP gear oils |
| •Extensive Australian field trials have shown it to be an excellent "trouble shooting" lubricant for final drives operating under severe conditions, particularly successful in reducing operating temperatures and extending oil and component life in Meritor (Rockwell) axles, and is endorsed by Meritor Australia for use in these applications |
