Castrol CDX 30F
Castrol CDX 30f is a high-quality lubricant suitable for use in the crankcase of low-speed marine crosshead engines. It is primarily designed for use in modern, highly rated marine crosshead type diesel engines, and is also suitable for use in a wide variety of other applications including stern tubes, allowing lubricant grade rationalisation on board and thereby reducing operational complexity.

KEY FEATURES
Engine Cleanliness & Protection
Castrol's specially selected detergent technology helps reduce deposit formation, and cleans crankcases, piston interiors and lubricating oil lines. The lubricant's antioxidant properties also provide an oxidatively resistant and thermally stable product, while high level corrosion resistance protects critical bearing surfaces against water contamination. All of this means CDX 30f can provide protection for key components for longer – a well-maintained engine improves reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
Water Handling Capability
CDX 30f's demulsification technology results in effective water tolerance and separation with regards to water ingress, and continues to lubricate key components even in the presence of water.
Operational Simplicity
CDX 30f offers high load carrying capabilities and high gear performance, enabling it to be used for non-engine applications and helping reduce inventory on board.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CDX 30f is approved for use by major engine manufacturers including MAN ES, WinGD and JEC. It is also approved for use in stern tubes and meets requirements set by Kemel, SKF and Wartsila Deep Sea Seals.
